The Storm

Stillness settles across our plain
Too many hearts pounding, deafening to the ear
Long waiting, for the blades pain

Anticipating the cut through silence
Not realizing that retribution must be paid
By the blood spilled of those victims of violence

Rumbling Earth shakes as the old ways
Once held passion in the battles for freedom
Quake of horse hooves, wars cries the old days

Mother yearning someone to return
Someone they will remember once again
And bring vengeance upon those who burn

The gift of harvest and life to sustain
Life over centuries past 'til now
Ungrateful bastards returned nothing but disdain

All their evil ways washed away by the rain
After the wait for the battles end
No evidence, nor hate will remain

Rebuilding anew, our land, our home
Fortified fortress of hope and love
Ao what was once lost, may once again roam

Renewed and Rejuvinated

A fantasy born unto me
That one day I will reawaken
To a new world
A new life
I am not afraid

This shell, but a casing
Which holds something too dark
For your prying eyes to handle
It is awake, and very much alive

Using it to bring upon the dawning
Of what many wait for
Their wait will not be in vain
A gift I am far too happy to oblige

Is insanity my friend?
The night walks beside me
Holding my hand
Keeping me safe and warm

I open those gates you linger next to
I will let the blood rain pour down upon you
With only you to face an explanation
In that field you stand alone
