Before I Forever Sleep

I will ask you to fogive me
For giving my heart to you
Slowly death embraces what you last see
And all is gone you once knew

Thrown away in a hurricane
A thought no more
A tornado of memories bring pain
Breaking this heart onto the floor

Chess is for the weak
A game I choose not to play
Death finds me not before I speak
I yearn for darkness to seize the day

Arms I long for, drop to his side
Turning to another who appeases his taste
Left once again a lonely soul to hide
His mind washed away the memory erased

Emotions spent
A wasted time
Passions and beliefs repent
What was lost is no longer mine

Stolen, robbed, and from me ripped
From that glass you gaze upon
The taste of darkness finally sipped
I drift on before the dawn

I must remember the last kiss
Those arms squeeze my life away
I must deserve this
Now I lay me to a brilliant decay
